During the discussion the tremendous growth of containers handled in Baltic ports were discussed. In order to follow the growth the capacity of container terminals in the ports have to be enlarged. Prof. Grzelakowski forecasts further concentration in container shipping. The process of concentration is to be fuelled by the development of the Motorways of the Sea and will benefit bigger and better located ports in the main logistics supply chains in the Baltic.
