This year's BPO General Assembly will be held on 11-12-13 September 2008 in the Grand Hall of the Musik- und Kongreßhalle in Lübeck, Germany. The main theme of the Conference will be: "Innovations in seaports: Cargo handling, efficient terminal utilization, hinterland connections, climate change"

Annual BPO Seminar that was held on 16th April in Brussels gathered more than 20 persons including members of the European Parliament, representatives of transport trade organizations, ports, etc. During the meeting, that took a form of a working lunch, a few speeches were given.
