Port of Luleå is the most northern of the five Swedish TEN-T Coreports situated on the Baltic bay. The port is handling about 8.500.000 tons of goods annually with a focus on material to and from the mining and steel industries.
The port is a gateway to the iron ore fields in northern Sweden and 90% of the iron ore mines within EU have a connection to the Port of Luleå. The Port of Luleå is a key asset for the future and ongoing transformation to a more green steel and mining industry .
