GENERAL INFORMATION

Ventspils Free Port is located on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Over the centuries Ventspils Free Port has accumulated strategic significance in servicing of Russian and CIS export cargoes. Ventspils Free Port is ice free and covers the area of 2 623 ha. The port is known as an efficient Baltic Sea region transhipment hub for crude oil and oil products, liquid chemicals, potassium salt, coal, grain and general cargoes.
